Whittington’s Original Beef Jerky
This is the “One.” This is the same recipe that we started making over 50 years ago! We take pride in the simplicity of ingredients, because we know that a good jerky doesn’t need all those extras thrown at it. It just needs to be made of quality meat, a simple list of ingredients, slow smoked using REAL wood, and cut out all the fillers and chemicals.
That’s why Whittington’s Jerky has stayed true to this “Original” recipe where we take beef, ONLY USA BEEF, and hand cut and season, then we slow smoke with mesquite wood for over 12 hours. We vacuum the jerky pouch because that’s its true preservative and ship it to you fresh, so when you open the pouch up, your mouth starts watering right away.
This recipe is lightly peppered with a wonderful smoked flavor.
